Keel laid for the first of the Windkeepers, NB1095, at Cemre Shipyard on 8th February 2024.
Specially designed as SWATH type for offshore windfarm services, NB1095's operatibility is improved, ultra low fuel consumption is maintained, and the option of fully electric operation in the field is enabled.
The vessel is equipped with a Walk to Work gangway and DPS(2) systems.
Diesel-electric propulsion solution of the vessel comes with many advantages including increased safety, decreased operations costs & environmental footprint.
