NB57 – Wind of Change and Louis Dreyfus Armateurs (LDA) was awarded the Offshore Renewables Award at the 2019 Annual Offshore Support Journal Awards. The award was announced at the gala dinner on the 6th February, Business and Market Development Director Sinan Kavala attended on behalf of Cemre Shipyard.

As the first hybrid battery DC network DPII SOV for windfarm maintenance ever built with innovative and pioneer solutions onboard, NB57 Wind of Change will be delivered very soon. After the delivery, the Wind of Change will serve in the Borkum Riffgrund 1 & 2 and Gode Wind 1 & 2 windfarms off the coast of Germany for the biggest energy company in Denmark, Ørsted.

With the trend-setting solutions onboard and the green concept of the NB57, the sister vessel, NB67 – Wind of Hope has been ordered by LDA and it will service Ørsted’s Hornsea Two windfarm offshore the UK.
