At Cemre Shipyard, the “Equality at Work” training program was organized from October 21 to 24, 2024, to strengthen the culture of gender equality and unity. Supported by the Swedish Consulate and conducted by the Yanındayız Association, the program was led by the esteemed Dr. Ayşe Kaşıkırık, an expert in Political Science and Public Administration. Focusing on the core principles of human rights, the training brought significant awareness of the importance of social equality.

Conducted over 8 sessions with the participation of 250 employees, the program contributed to building an inclusive and equitable workplace culture while encouraging individuals to take responsibility for fostering gender equality in society.

Dr. Ayşe Kaşıkırık highlighted key topics such as integrating gender equality into corporate policies, combating violence, and delivering equitable services. As one of the first signatories of the Women's Empowerment Principles (WEPs) in its industry, Cemre Shipyard remains committed to equality and inclusivity.

The training reaffirmed the shipyard's dedication to human rights and social equality. On December 10, Human Rights Day, Cemre Shipyard emphasizes not just the significance of this day but the importance of shaping every day with equality and justice. Committed to creating a fairer and more united world, the shipyard continues to take significant steps toward this goal.
