When Cemre Shipyard signed a ferry contract with Bastø Fosen, it was a very significant development for shipyard and Turkey Shipbuilding Industry. We are very pleased that we once again prove our quality and reliability especially for one of the best current projects. The ship which building for operation in Norway with route Horten – Moss has been launched 14th May 2016 by Cemre Shipyard. DNV class and Multi Maritime design ferry (MM 139FD) is 142,9 meters long and 20,7 meters wide. It provides a capacity of 600 passengers, 200 cars and between 24 to 30 trucks. The ferry is known as “Super Ferries” as the fuel consumption of the vessel is 25-30% less and the engines will emit over 80% less NOx than the existing ferries.
