First of all, it was a quite challenge and also a pleasure to be part of this 81,9 meter long vessel project, specially designed and built to fit Multi Role Concept of ESVAGT –the recognized and reliable company in offshore support and safety market. Delivering this complicated vessel successfully was also a milestone for my professional career.

She is a valuable outcome of successful team work between ESVAGT site team and CEMRE Shipyard as well as HAVYARD Design &Solutions which is an experienced company in designing special ships for oil & gas industry and a long-term partner of CEMRE.

ESVAGT INNOVATOR certainly stands out among her competitors with her fuel efficient diesel-electric propulsion and two off movable, fully ex-proof deck cranes which ensure safe and handy operation. Also a hydraulic “A frame” is installed onboard the ship to handle hose system in more efficient and easier way.

The ship also features DP2 which provides her an optimal navigation and maneuverability during daily tasks.

We are proud of overcoming challenges that were presented by such “high-tech” ship which is capable of handling multiple tasks such as ROV operations controlled from a dedicated ROV control room, oil surveillance and recovery and tug operations up to 100 tons.

While being one of the largest and the most modern MPV in ESVAGT Fleet, INNOVATOR also offers great comfort and efficient working environment to her guests and crew. The biggest parameter for that is the vessel is prepared for walk to work gangway system which will enable technicians to walk their way easily to platforms.

In this project comfort of onboard personnel was surely one of our top concerns. I believe I can say that; with her sophisticated and high quality produced cabins in addition to other facilities such as gymnasium, day room, coffee bar and active roll tanks for smooth sailing will help onboard personnel in their effort to overcome homesickness.

From my side, the most exciting part of the process was the opportunity to contribute such a challenging project that will be recognized as a milestone in country’s ship building industry. I’ve found great joy in working with experienced CEMRE team who worked hard to fulfill CEMRE’s good shipbuilding practice.
