CEMRE ENGINEERING & SHIPYARD IND. & TRADE LTD.

Cemre Engineering & Shipyard Ind. & Trade Ltd., established in 1996, carry on a business predominantly in hull scraping – painting works, ship maintenance and repairment. Hence 2004, Cemre expedited the activities by assigning new strategies and quality objectives with the ever-increasing experience and trained young personnel cadre. In May 2005 our company applied to Turkish Patent Institute for registration of trademark; meantime (as well) accomplished the quality improvement activities and obtained BS EN ISO 9001:2000 Quality Certificate in July 2005.

As a result of our high quality policy and gained experience we made a great strike, thereby in 2005 we started new ship building programme up by signing contracts for 2 AHTS vessel. Up to present, we have been delivered 9 off AHTS & 2 off PSV to Norwegian Havyard Company. 3 projects, which are still being under construction, will be delivered in 2009.
In consequence of this speed-up, Cemre was ranked as the third of the highest tax payerslist in Pendik Tax Administration in 2006. In 2007 Cemre was the Export Record Holder in Pendik Exporter's Association and was ranked as 534th of the most exporting companies list in Turkish Exporter's Union.

In order to increase our production capacity in parallel with the long-term production policies which we improved by considering the increasing requests of ship building industry in the World; In 2006 we started to substructure works of Cemre Shipyard, located on a land of 60.000 m2, and Cemre Workshop, located on a land of 10.000 m2, in Altınova Shipyard District in Yalova. In our shipyard that has a capacity of building 12.000 tonnes of steel annually, the new infrastructural investments are still being in progress in order to increase our production capacity and quality.
